Happy New Year!
It was so nice to see all of the smiling faces of Classroom 2 back together in 2023! Everyone enjoys the long holiday break, but students show us year after year that they appreciate returning to a familiar schedule and routine when it is all over. Our children were no exception! They came to school ready to work and reconnect with their classmates and friends! The week was short but very successful! Our students were both focused and committed to participating and completing lessons! Reconnecting with peers is another big part of returning to school in January. We were so lucky to have a few days of great weather at the end of the week so our children could enjoy socializing on the beautiful Bruno playground! We were also able to utilize the sunshine and picnic tables outside our classroom to complete vocabulary work! Great first week!
Please be sure to read the Bruno Update sent from the office each week! It is chock-full of information to keep you in the know about everything JBMA! An example of the information you received in December is the after-school camp schedule! These fun activity camps allow children to experience and explore new ideas and interests. They are usually four to six weeks in length and last an hour or so after school. We encourage you to peruse the flyer as some camps begin next week! One correction of note, Ms. Tejal’s embroidery camp is open to 1st – 8th-grade students! She has an additional space or two available. Please contact her if your child is interested in learning the art of embroidery.
