What a blast we had at the 2022 JBMA PTO Fall Festival! The PTO always does such a nice job with the festival activities. And…. this year..it was so much fun to win the Jack-o-Lantern Contest! Our students were so proud of their efforts! We thank our fabulous room mothers for all their help! Thank you all so much for supporting our classroom and school by attending and sponsoring the annual festival!
This week, again we were busy learning new lessons as well as reinforcing others with extra practice. Dr. Montessori designed a series of Grammar materials that bring this work to life and makes it another sensorial experience. Each symbol has a shape and color that were chosen to have meaning and purpose. Studying grammar helps all students become better writers and readers.
Our students were also treated with an opportunity to watch a movie trailer version of the upcoming play “James and the Giant Peach” in our beautifully remodeled gymnasium! Classroom 2-rrific has many of the play’s amazing actors in it this season, so we are all very excited!
We look forward to seeing you all for the play this evening!
We ended our busy week with a beautiful cultural presentation on Diwali, a festival of lights. Students explained the significance of Diwali. Students decorated clay diyas, created a Diwali greeting card, and enjoyed Indian snacks! We are proud of the diversity at JBMA and thankful for the enthusiasm and support of our parent community!

- The Fall play, James and the Giant Peach, is today, Friday, October 21st, at 6:30 PM. Please plan to attend and support the incredible Bruno Cast and Crew !!
- The Book Fair will be the week of October 24th. Information has been emailed and sent home.
- Be sure to sign-up for in-person parent-teacher conferences.
- Our annual JBMA Halloween parade will be on October 31st, at 9:00 am on the track. Families are invited to attend to cheer on our participants!
