What a fabulous week our class…..2rrific students had!

Montessori students are encouraged to become independent lifelong learners. It is much involved in achieving this goal. Students in our classroom work to build and improve their time management skills by setting a daily goal and working to achieve it during the morning work block. A dependable morning routine is important to our children. They are learning how much time is available and how to use it wisely. We stress the importance of the work cycle with our students which includes, selecting a lesson, working with concentration and focus, completing the work, and then putting it away.
Our Cultural lessons this week have focused on preparation for our field trip to the American Village next week. We have taken a deep dive into the life of the Pilgrims

REMINDERS:
On Monday, October 31st, the Halloween parade will be on Monday at 9:00 on the track. Families are welcome to attend. For the Halloween Parade, your child should come in costume with a paragraph about their character. Also, make sure your child has a complete change of clothes since we will only be wearing the costume at the beginning of the day.

Tuesday, November 1st is our field trip. We will be leaving around 8:30 am so have your child here no later than 8am. Send a sack lunch and disposable drink. Have your child dress for the weather with comfortable walking shoes.
